They have been married for 40 years,have three children, and two grandchildren. Deborah works in the medical field and plays crucialrole in social support for Edward.Since previously discussing Edwards’ comorbidities, he has also been diagnosed withprostate cancer, which is “the most common cancer in men, the second leading cause of cancer-related death, and usually observed in older men” (Dağdelen, et. al., 2020, p. 162). CurrentlyEdwards’ cancer has been classified as stage IIB, treatment options were briefly discussed asradiation therapy or surgery, but Edward does not meet with the urologist or oncologist untilmiddle of January. For now, the focus is staying positive and increasing healthy behaviors
