The purpose of this assignment is to present the team’s statistical findings to scenario stakeholders.
For this assignment, your group will utilize the preliminary data collected in the Topic 2 and 3 assignments and the hypothesis tests that each group member completed for the Topic 6 assignment. Considering the specific requirements of your scenario, create a 10-15 slide PowerPoint presentation that addresses the following. Include speaker notes for each slide. Include a reference slide at the end of the presentation.
- Summary of the business scenario.
- Definition of the variables and sources.
- Rationale for the type of hypothesis tests used.
- Null and alternative hypothesis.
- Summary of all group members’ hypothesis tests with results that include test statistic, critical value(s), and p-value.
- Box plot visuals for each hypothesis test.
- Interpretation of the statistic results of the hypothesis tests.
- Summary of the hypothesis testing results and how these can be applied to inform business decisions for the specified business case scenario.
When building slide content, the hypothesis testing data should be presented in a way that clearly addresses the following in the speaker notes/oral presentation:
- Describe the data tested.
- Explain which hypothesis test was done and why it was done.
- Present the box plot visual output of the hypothesis test.
- Provide an interpretation of the box plot output.
- Identify whether the results of the hypothesis test are significant and explain why.
