A. For this assessment, I will be discussing the use of adaptive learning technologies in nursing education and its impact on student outcomes.

Two organizations that are currently using adaptive learning technologies in their nursing programs are the University of Michigan School of Nursing and the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions.
The University of Michigan School of Nursing has benefited from implementing adaptive learning technologies in their nursing program by increasing student engagement and improving student outcomes. According to a study published in the Journal of Nursing Education, the use of adaptive learning technologies in the program resulted in a significant increase in student grades and a decrease in student attrition rates.

The Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions has also seen benefits from using adaptive learning technologies in their nursing program. According to a presentation by the institute, the use of adaptive learning technologies has resulted in improved student engagement and increased student satisfaction with the program.

B. The title of the course that I will develop is “Using Adaptive Learning Technologies in Nursing Education”. The competencies of the course will include:

I will implement the chosen innovation for the course by incorporating adaptive learning technologies into the course content and activities. C. In order to evaluate the use of adaptive learning technologies in my course, I would solicit feedback from my nursing/nurse educator peers by conducting surveys or focus groups to gather their perspectives on the use of the technology in the course.
